Line Cook - Remote Opportunity in Culinary Arts

About the Role

As a Line Cook in our legendary music and entertainment venues, you'll play a crucial role in delivering delicious, high-quality food that fuels the guest experience. This Line Cook remote position allows you to be part of a vibrant culinary team, preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to specifications, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in a high-volume kitchen surrounded by the energy of live performances.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using techniques such as sautéing, grilling, frying, baking, and roasting.
• Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Perform knife skills including slicing, chopping, mincing, julienne, and dicing to prepare food items.
• Follow standardized recipes and adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste.
• Read and execute food orders from printed tickets or kitchen display systems accurately and promptly.
• Ensure food is served promptly and notify leadership of any delays in service.
• Maintain cleanliness in walk-in coolers, food production areas, and general kitchen areas.
• Properly store food and chemicals, labeling and dating them according to established guidelines.

Requirements

• Experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role preferred.
• Basic to advanced knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure exceptional service.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and cooking methods.

Nice to Have

• Culinary degree or certification.
