Legal Intern - Privacy Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Legal Intern for a remote position focused on privacy law. This opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience in a legal tech startup while working on compliance and privacy issues in the tech industry. As a Legal Intern, you will be involved in various tasks that enhance your understanding of legal frameworks and data protection laws.

What You'll Do

• Assist in legal research related to privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR compliance.
• Support the legal team in drafting and reviewing contracts and legal paperwork.
• Participate in data mapping and process improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Engage in contract management and negotiations, gaining insights into corporate governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal concerns in product design and user experience.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Law or a related field.
• Strong interest in privacy law and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with data protection laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with legal research tools and databases.
• Knowledge of SaaS and tech industry regulations.
• Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools.
