About the Role

We are looking for a Leasing Specialist to join our team remotely. As a Leasing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in generating leads and managing apartment leases while adhering to company and Fair Housing guidelines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the real estate management industry, where you will greet prospects, demonstrate property features, and secure lease agreements.

What You'll Do

  • Respond to internet leads and answer prospect calls, scheduling appointments and conducting property tours.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to residents and future residents, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Maintain prospect traffic and leasing data, assisting with computer data entry as necessary.
  • Inspect units for move-ins to ensure readiness and prepare move-in packets for new residents.
  • Plan and host resident functions and special events to promote community engagement.
  • Collect application fees, deposits, and rent, preparing and submitting resident application materials for approval.
  • Follow up with prospects after viewings or application submissions to enhance conversion rates.
  • Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic and maintain high occupancy rates.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of customer service or sales experience.
  • Working knowledge of property management software, such as Onesite.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage frequent interruptions throughout the day.

  • Understanding of fair housing laws and confidentiality practices.
