About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As a Lead Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing payroll operations, ensuring compliance with global payroll best practices, and leading a team of payroll professionals. What You'll Do

  • Lead the payroll team in processing payroll for employees across multiple regions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement and maintain payroll best practices, utilizing tools such as SAP and Google Sheets to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on payroll processes and compliance requirements.
  • Analyze payroll data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Stay updated on payroll regulations and compliance changes to ensure adherence to local laws.
  • Support the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
  • Engage in problem-solving and analytical tasks to enhance payroll operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in payroll processing, with a focus on leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in payroll software, particularly SAP and Pantheon Software.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Serbian or Croatian is a plus.
  • Experience in B2B and SaaS environments is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with affiliate marketing and customer service.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
