Java/​Kotlin Developer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Java/Kotlin Developer to join our dynamic team. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to high-load systems. As a Java/Kotlin Developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing system performance and stability, leveraging your expertise in modern technologies.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain high-load systems using Java and Kotlin.
• Refactor monolithic systems into microservices to improve scalability and performance.
• Implement new microservices from the ground up, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain performance and stability across the codebase.
• Utilize Elasticsearch to optimize system performance by at least 30%.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various technologies such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for efficient deployment and testing.
• Document APIs using Swagger and OpenAPI for better team collaboration.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Java/Kotlin Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and microservices architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, and Liquibase.
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration.
• Proficient in testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
• Understanding of BPMN 2.0 and Camunda.
• Fluent in English (B2) and native Russian speaker.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Elasticsearch and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ and Kafka for messaging.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
