Java/​Kotlin Developer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Java/Kotlin Developer to join our dynamic team. This Java/Kotlin Developer remote position offers the opportunity to work on high-load systems and contribute to innovative projects. With your expertise, you will help enhance system performance and stability while collaborating with a talented team.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Kotlin.
• Refactor existing monolithic systems into efficient microservices architecture.
• Utilize Elasticsearch to optimize system performance by at least 30%.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and stability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to streamline development processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
• Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment of applications.
• Participate in the design and implementation of RESTful APIs using Swagger and OpenAPI.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Java/Kotlin Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and microservices architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL/MariaDB for database management.
• Familiarity with Docker, JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
• Proficient in using RabbitMQ and Kafka for messaging.
• Excellent command of English (B2) and native Russian speaker.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Nice to Have

• Experience with BPMN 2.0 and Camunda.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch for performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
