IT Systems Manager - Onsite Role in Healthcare

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Manager to oversee a dedicated team in a healthcare setting. This IT Systems Manager remote position will require you to be onsite in Wausau, Wisconsin, 5 days a week, managing a team of 17 professionals across various IT domains including systems, server, storage, and cloud infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage a diverse team responsible for IT infrastructure and services.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of systems and server management.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders across 19 hospitals and 140+ clinics.
  • Ensure the effective management of cloud services and storage solutions.
  • Utilize your expertise in VMware, Windows, and database management to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Systems Manager or similar role in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure management, VMware, and Windows systems.
  • Experience with project management and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Willingness to relocate to Wausau, WI, if not already local.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Epic systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and services.
  • Certifications in relevant IT management frameworks.
