Intern DevSecOps Engineer - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are excited to offer a remote internship position as a DevSecOps Engineer at Rockwell Automation. This internship focuses on enhancing the efficiency, quality, and security of our Development teams through innovative software tools and process improvements. Join our global DevSecOps team and contribute to the Power Control Business Development.
What You'll Do
- Automate builds and integrate new tools for CI/CD processes.
- Develop and maintain build scripts and installation activities.
- Monitor build cycles and software releases to ensure quality.
- Design and test the integration of systems using APIs.
- Work within a Scrum Team in a SAFe Agile framework.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a bachelor's or advanced degree program related to software development.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
- Experience with Git technologies is essential.
- Familiarity with Python and PowerShell scripting is preferred.
- Knowledge of automated testing practices is advantageous.
- Experience with Dependency Management tools is a plus.
- Prior use of configuration management tools is beneficial.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies is necessary.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration in a diverse team environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Who Will Succeed Here
