LaBella Associates is excited to offer a unique opportunity for an Interior Design Intern - Remote. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in our Interior Design Studios in Richmond, VA, while working closely with experienced designers. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about design principles and eager to apply their knowledge to real projects.
What You'll Do
- Assist in creating drawings and specifications for various design projects.
- Utilize your intermediate skills to develop graphics for presentations and proposals.
- Participate in visualization exercises to enhance project outcomes.
- Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, to ensure project goals are met.
- Organize and manage your time efficiently to deliver assignments on schedule.
- Accompany project leaders to client meetings and presentations, gaining valuable insights.
- Maintain the material library and assist with organizing manufacturer visits and sample returns.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited university.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment alongside experienced Interior Designers.
- Strong sketching and modeling skills.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Creative Suite, and 3D Max.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team efforts.
Nice to Have
- Previous internship experience in interior design or a related field.
