We are seeking a dedicated Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist I to join our remote team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate records. As an Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist I, you will help streamline billing operations and enhance customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Process insurance claims and manage accounts receivable efficiently.
• Verify patient eligibility and insurance coverage for medical services.
• Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing inquiries.
• Post payments and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or medical billing.
• Familiarity with billing systems and insurance claims processing.
• Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 coding is a plus.

• Experience with QuickBooks Online or NetSuite.
• Previous work in a healthcare setting.
• Understanding of financial clearance and prior authorizations.
