Institutional Sales Manager - Head of East Asia (Crypto)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Institutional Sales Manager to lead our efforts in East Asia. As an Institutional Sales Manager - Head of East Asia (Crypto), you will play a crucial role in expanding our presence in the institutional market. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while driving revenue growth and building relationships with key clients.
What You'll Do
- Identify and onboard new institutional clients, particularly Hedge Funds and Asset Managers, guiding them through the onboarding and initial trading phases.
- Deliver exceptional coverage and support to our institutional and VIP clients, fostering deep relationships to drive increased trading volumes and loyalty.
- Promote BitMEX's tools, products, and strategies to empower clients in maximizing their trading potential on our platform.
- Act as the primary point of contact for institutional customers, managing all direct communications and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Gather, analyze, and report on client feedback, linking insights directly to trading activity to enhance our offerings.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize client issues and propose effective solutions.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the BitMEX trading platform and its impact on the client base.
- Represent BitMEX at industry conferences to enhance brand image and solidify relationships.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience engaging with Hedge Fund and Asset Manager clients in the digital asset industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales KPIs and expanding client bases.
- Existing client relationships within the cryptocurrency industry are highly desirable.
- Fluent in Mandarin and business-level English.
- Exceptional client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities to address complex client needs.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and excel with limited direction.
- A collaborative team player with leadership potential.
