About the Role

Handshake is seeking an Industrial Designer - AI Trainer to join our team remotely. This unique opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in Rhino 3D to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. As an Industrial Designer - AI Trainer, you'll evaluate AI-generated content and provide valuable feedback, helping AI systems better understand 3D modeling tasks and industrial design workflows.

What You'll Do

• Utilize your Rhino 3D experience to create tool-related questions and review AI-generated responses for accuracy.
• Provide feedback that enhances AI understanding of real-world industrial design and 3D modeling workflows.
• Engage in ongoing, project-based work that fits alongside your other commitments.
• Annotate and label 3D models and design assets for clarity and accuracy.
• Review 3D models for geometric integrity and design consistency.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Rhino 3D, gained through professional work or freelance projects.
• Strong understanding of NURBS modeling, industrial design concepts, and 3D geometry workflows.
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow written guidelines effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience in product prototyping or fabrication workflows.
• Background in consumer product design or related fields.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in design.
