HR Specialist - Remote Opportunity at JetBrains

About the Role

We are seeking an HR Specialist to join JetBrains, a leader in developer tools, to enhance our employee experience. This HR Specialist role offers the flexibility of remote work while being part of a dynamic team in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and manage HR documentation including contracts, amendments, and employer statements.
• Handle sickness cases with accuracy, compliance, and care.
• Support onboarding processes to ensure a smooth start for new hires.
• Act as a primary HR contact, answering employee questions and providing guidance.
• Contribute to local and global HR projects that drive operational improvements.
• Optimize HR workflows to support JetBrains’ rapid growth.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and ensure data quality.
• Assist the payroll team by supplying timely HR inputs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Hands-on HR experience, ideally including case management and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and compliance processes.
• Proficiency in HR systems (HiBob is a plus) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a strong advantage.
• Proactive mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Problem-solving skills and a drive for continuous improvement.

Nice to Have
