About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations at Lotte New York Palace. As a Housekeeping Manager remote, you will ensure that our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort during their stay. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage a team effectively and maintain exceptional service quality.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and inspect daily cleaning activities of guest rooms and common areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.
  • Complete inspection reports and ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
  • Issue assignments to staff for special requests and areas of concentration to ensure smooth housekeeping operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering to address maintenance issues and protect hotel assets.
  • Monitor inventory of housekeeping supplies and ensure staff have necessary materials to perform their tasks.
  • Conduct weekly inspections with section managers to correct any shortcomings and maintain high standards.
  • Communicate cleanliness concerns to appropriate departments and resolve challenges effectively.
  • Participate in safety committees and contribute to departmental decisions and programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of housekeeping supervision experience, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working closely with Front Office and In-Room Dining Management.
  • Hands-on experience in a team-oriented environment.
