Home Care Aide - Flexible Scheduling

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Home Care Aide to join Brookdale Senior Living. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide one-on-one companionship and non-medical care to seniors in a supportive environment. As a Home Care Aide, you will be making a significant impact on the lives of our residents while enjoying flexible scheduling options.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct care to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, and grooming.
• Support seniors with housekeeping tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, and laundry.
• Offer companionship and engage residents in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands.
• Provide medication reminders and ensure residents' safety and comfort.

Requirements

• Compassionate and caring attitude towards seniors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in caregiving is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and families.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.

Nice to Have

• Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Knowledge of elderly care best practices.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
