About the Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Head of Payments - Remote to join Nexus International. As the Head of Payments, you will lead our payments strategy and build a scalable, high-performance payment service provider (PSP) network across key markets. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the iGaming sector as we expand our global payments infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute the company’s global payments strategy, focusing on PSP selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard relevant PSPs across priority markets to enhance our payment capabilities.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, fees, and service-level agreements to optimize payment processes.
  • Improve deposit approval rates and reduce transaction friction to enhance user experience.
  • Optimize routing logic and payment orchestration to ensure seamless transactions.
  • Reduce chargebacks and fraud-related losses through effective fraud mitigation tools.
  • Monitor payment KPIs including approval rates, decline codes, and cost ratios to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and AML requirements to maintain operational integrity.
  • Build a scalable payments infrastructure to support international growth and expansion.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in iGaming payments or fintech payments leadership.
  • Strong network of PSP relationships across key regulated and emerging markets.
  • Proven track record of improving approval rates and reducing processing costs.
  • Deep understanding of card acquiring, alternative payment methods (APMs), and local payment rails.
  • Experience with fraud mitigation tools and payment orchestration.
  • Strong commercial negotiation experience to secure favorable terms.
  • Experience operating in multi-market environments to navigate diverse regulatory landscapes.
