About the Role

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with a focus on Shopify and WordPress to join our dynamic team at Floowi Inc. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with a U.S.-based web studio that is dedicated to building high-performing websites. You will play a crucial role in developing, customizing, and maintaining scalable systems that meet client needs.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and WordPress websites, ensuring clean and reliable code.
  • Build responsive, fast-loading front ends and stable, scalable back ends.
  • Integrate APIs, apps, and third-party tools across platforms to enhance functionality.
  • Troubleshoot bugs and deliver clean, tested, reliable code that meets high-quality standards.
  • Optimize websites for speed, SEO, security, and overall performance to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and designers to bring projects to life, ensuring alignment with client goals.
  • Work independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards in your deliverables.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional development experience, particularly in Shopify and WordPress.
  • Advanced skills in Shopify Liquid, WordPress (PHP), JavaScript, HTML & CSS, and MySQL.
  • Experience with theme customization, plugin development, and app integrations.
  • Familiarity with Git and standard development workflows.
  • Strong debugging abilities and the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with custom APIs, WooCommerce, or headless architectures.
  • Knowledge of accessibility and SEO best practices to enhance site performance.
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles to create user-friendly interfaces.
