About the Role

As a Frontend/UI Web Developer at Etherscan, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing one of the most-used blockchain interfaces globally. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to create and improve the user experience across a diverse set of products and features in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will integrate UX best practices with cutting-edge technology in the blockchain industry.

What You'll Do

  • Develop new user-facing features that enhance the overall user experience.
  • Create quality wireframes, mockups, and prototypes while mapping out interactions between various product elements.
  • Ensure consistency in design and functionality across all platforms, browsers, and screen sizes while maintaining a clean and minimal aesthetic.
  • Continuously improve the flows and interactions of our product to create the best UX imaginable for our users.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to assist with coding and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain high graphic standards and brand consistency throughout all designs.
  • Stay updated with evolving UI/UX best practices to keep our product at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Responsive Design, Frontend Design, GitHub, and CSS frameworks such as SASS.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with Bootstrap is essential.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills to share and receive constructive feedback across cross-functional teams.
  • A detail-oriented mindset that ensures pixel-perfect designs and interactions.
  • Initiative to enhance every aspect of the product and improve user experience.
  • Passion and knowledge about Ethereum will be considered a plus.

  • Experience with modern web applications and frameworks.
  • Understanding of blockchain technology and its applications.
