Freelance UI/​UX Designer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Freelance UI/UX Designer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will shape the user experience of Europe’s first AI-native energy supplier at Zeus Energy, creating a digital-first platform that helps businesses manage their energy efficiently. As a Freelance UI/UX Designer, you will lead the design of the MVP from user research to high-fidelity interfaces, ensuring that our product meets the needs of SMEs managing energy.

What You'll Do

• Build intuitive user journeys for SMEs managing energy.
• Collaborate with founders, engineers, and customers for design refinement.
• Establish design systems and visual identity that resonate with our target audience.
• Translate complex data into clear user experiences that enhance usability.
• Conduct user testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into the design process.
• Utilize Figma to create high-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts.
• Drive impactful design solutions motivated by user needs and business goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products.
• Strong ability to simplify complexity and create user-friendly designs.
• Proficient in Figma and user testing methodologies.
• Comfortable with customer engagement and feedback processes.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in designing for AI and energy-related products.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX projects.
