About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and skilled QA/Testing Developer remote to join our fully remote team at SPACE44. In this role, you will focus on building comprehensive testing processes and QA pipelines from the ground up. You will design and implement comprehensive testing strategies and frameworks, ensuring high-quality deliverables in our software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Build automated testing pipelines and CI/CD integration to streamline our development processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate quality processes throughout the SDLC.
  • Define testing standards, methodologies, and best practices to enhance our quality assurance efforts.
  • Implement DevOps practices for testing automation and deployment, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Conduct performance and security testing to identify vulnerabilities and improve system robustness.
  • Develop API testing and database testing solutions to ensure data integrity and functionality.
  • Report on testing metrics and quality improvements to stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with testing tools, frameworks, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
  • Strong expertise in automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Extensive experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration.
  • Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
  • Experience with performance testing and security testing methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of API testing and database testing.
  • Proven experience building testing processes from scratch.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a distributed team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based testing tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.
