About the Role

Avantia Law is seeking a skilled Freelance Legal Consultant to manage contract negotiations in a fully remote environment. As a Freelance Legal Consultant, you will negotiate investment-related NDAs and other essential contracts, working flexibly to meet the needs of our clients. What You'll Do

• Negotiate investment-related NDAs, Engagement Letters, and other contracts.
• Manage all phases of the contract process from initiation to execution.
• Work closely with a team of global lawyers and paralegals to ensure compliance and quality.
• Engage in fast-paced, high-volume negotiations to meet client demands.
• Contribute to an inclusive and diverse workplace culture.
• Ensure rapid turnaround times while maintaining high standards of service.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
• Maintain a strong work ethic and commitment to quality service.

Requirements

• Qualified Lawyer with relevant experience in contract negotiation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of legal concepts with a commercial outlook.
• Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.

• Experience working with asset managers and private equity firms.
• Familiarity with legal technology tools.
• Previous freelance or contract negotiation experience.
