About the Role

We are Kolibri Games, a mobile games developer based in Berlin, seeking a highly skilled Freelance AI Artist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will support user acquisition tests for new mobile game concepts by producing a high volume of images and videos using AI tools. As a Freelance AI Artist, you will collaborate closely with the Art Director to refine visual styles and translate sketches into polished visuals.

What You'll Do

  • Produce high-quality images and videos using AI tools for various game concepts.
  • Collaborate with the Art Director to ensure visual style consistency.
  • Translate initial sketches into polished visuals that align with project goals.
  • Contribute to defining and training AI styles to enhance our creative output.
  • Maintain effective communication with the team via Slack and other channels.
  • Document workflows and share processes to improve team collaboration.
  • Engage in continuous learning and growth within the AI art domain.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an AI Artist with expertise in AI tools.
  • Ability to adapt to various visual styles and artistic directions.
  • Proficiency in training AI models and understanding their applications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote setting.
  • Willingness to document and share insights with the team.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Genuine interest in games and game development.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in mobile game development.
  • Familiarity with game design principles.
  • Knowledge of additional design software.
