About the Role

We are seeking a Founding Robotics Data Engineer to join our innovative team at Edison Smart® in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge Humanoid Robotics projects aimed at servicing the Middle East market. As a Robotics Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and managing robotic data pipelines that are essential for the development of our humanoid robots. This position offers a competitive salary of up to 65,000 AED monthly, along with relocation support and visa sponsorship.

What You'll Do

• Design and manage Robotics Data Pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and processing.
• Collect and analyze real-world and simulated data to enhance robotic functionalities.
• Collaborate with a small founding team to develop and implement Embodied AI solutions.
• Utilize Python and ROS/ROS2 for developing and optimizing robotic systems.
• Contribute to the overall strategy and vision of the humanoid robotics project.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing data pipelines specifically for Embodied AI in Robotics.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ROS/ROS2.
• Experience in real-world and simulated data collection techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
• Mid-senior level experience in robotics engineering or a related field.
