About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator II to join our team at FedEx Supply Chain. This role primarily involves safely operating complex powered material handling equipment, including High Reach, Order Picker, Drexel/Turret Swing Mast, Clamp, and Double Fork Truck. As a Forklift Operator II remote, you will play a crucial role in product receipt, storage, and order fulfillment, ensuring product safety, quality, legality, and integrity.

What You'll Do

  • Perform full case order picking for replenishment, customer orders, and packaging components.
  • Retrieve and put away pallets in a narrow aisle bulk rack storage system.
  • Conduct quality control to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
  • Utilize wire guidance systems for navigating narrow aisles where applicable.
  • Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines, by hand or equipment.
  • Sort, build, and wrap products with pallets to ensure compliance with customer expectations.
  • Maintain accuracy of storage locations by performing daily cycle counts and routine inventory maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to strict OSHA safety rules and perform other distribution work functions as needed due to business volume and need.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ years' experience with daily power equipment operations preferred; 6 months minimum is required.
  • Ability to operate powered complex material handling equipment.
  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and coordination.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service driven and a strong team player.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance.
