We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Cook to join our team at Santa Fe Recovery Center. What You'll Do
- Prepare and serve meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on scheduled workdays.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Label food items according to safety requirements and assist in food storage.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure all necessary items for meal preparation are available.
- Inform the Kitchen Supervisor of any food safety needs or concerns.
- Complete Safe Food Handling online training and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Interact professionally with clients and meet their special dietary needs.
- Assist with grocery shopping as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Current Food Handlers Certificate is required.
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
- Must have a valid NM Driver’s License and auto insurance.
- Five years of experience in a food establishment is preferred.

- Experience in dietary planning or special dietary needs.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
