What You'll Do

• Prepare palatable, nourishing, and well-balanced meals that meet daily nutritional and special dietary needs for patients and residents.
• Work collaboratively with our dedicated leadership team to ensure high-quality food service.
• Maintain a clean and efficient workplace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Participate in employee development programs to enhance your cooking skills and advance your career.

Requirements

• Experience cooking and preparing meals in a healthcare or institutional setting, or in a mass production, full-service restaurant setting is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts from 5 AM to 2 PM or 11 AM to 7 PM.
• Strong communication skills and a caring approach to managing situations for positive outcomes.
• Commitment to our service standards: sincere appreciation, hearing needs, and a caring approach.

Nice to Have

• Certification as a Dietary Cook or similar qualification.
• Experience in menu planning and dietary management.
• Knowledge of Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Requirements.
