About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Export Quality Advisor to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Group. This role offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while overseeing the quality processes of our export operations. As an Export Quality Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our vehicles meet the highest standards of quality before they leave the United States.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee MBUSA/MBUSI vehicle inspection processes to ensure adherence to Mercedes-Benz quality standards.
  • Manage reporting and documentation to track inspection findings and provide actionable feedback to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct vehicle and process audits throughout export operations using assigned manpower resources.
  • Analyze feedback from transportation colleagues, the Tuscaloosa plant, and global markets to consolidate insights into clear, professional reports.
  • Oversee repair quality and ensure all work meets Mercedes-Benz standards.
  • Coordinate parts ordering ensuring order accuracy and proper disposition.
  • Document export operational processes to meet ISO and compliance standards.
  • Actively influence MBUSA associates to build an ongoing culture of leadership innovation and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Communications, Project Management, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in automotive supply chain processes, with emphasis on finished vehicle logistics.
  • Proficient knowledge of fundamental business practices and concepts that influence the success and profitability of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills to collect data, establish facts, and identify trends.
  • Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources with varied levels of complexity.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Integrated Supply Chain Management (ISCM).
  • Knowledge of marketing research sources and data analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and techniques.
