What You'll Do

• Manage and provide patient care in the ICU, ensuring adherence to established standards.
• Assess patient needs and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Participate in evidence-based practice and contribute to research initiatives.
• Document care accurately and maintain continuity of care through effective discharge planning.
• Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their rights are upheld.
• Train and mentor junior nursing staff to promote optimal patient care.
• Utilize technology effectively in administering medications and managing emergencies.
• Engage in continuous professional development and educational initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Texas RN license and a minimum of one year of recent ICU experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and at least two years of Critical Care experience.
• Must demonstrate clinical competency and compassion in patient care.
