About the Role

We are seeking an Equity Research Associate to join our team at Goldman Sachs. This remote opportunity allows you to contribute to our global investment research efforts, focusing on large banks, brokers, and the crypto sector. As an Equity Research Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting our equity research teams by compiling, analyzing, and summarizing data to help shape investment strategies.

What You'll Do

• Support global equity research teams by compiling and analyzing data.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models and perform valuation analysis.
• Interpret a broad range of data and analyze market, economic, and industry trends.
• Contribute to the generation and execution of investment ideas through effective communication.
• Write reports on companies under coverage, including quarterly earnings updates and industry trends.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in equity research or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, bank regulation, and valuation techniques.
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate with various teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and other market tools (FactSet, Reuters, etc.).
