Equipment Engineering Technician - Remote Opportunity

What You'll Do

• Perform 12-hour shifts to support the running of production in the Module, ensuring equipment readiness and worthiness for production.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis.
• Assist engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime.
• Assist in implementing equipment improvement projects.
• Participate in the Quality Improvement Team program to improve productivity and output quality of the Module.
• Constantly monitor and provide feedback to engineers to improve equipment performance to meet Module objectives.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practices and safe custody of tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Microelectronics Engineering.
• 2 years of experience in a semiconductor equipment role is preferred, specifically with machines such as Photoresist Coaters, Proximity/Projection Aligners, Developers, and Wafer Bonders (Metal Bonding).
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with equipment improvement projects.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies.
