Entry-Level Testing Engineer - Intelligent Transport Systems

About the Role

Are you ready to kickstart your career as a Testing Engineer remote? At GMV, we are looking for an innovative and motivated individual to join our team in the Transport Sector. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to work on Software Validation of Control Centers and On-Board Equipment for Intelligent Transport Systems.

What You'll Do

• Support the validation team and development team in software validation tasks.
• Conduct software validation tests, continuous system validation, and customer acceptance tests.
• Specify test requirements and define tools for effective testing.
• Develop scripts for automated tests to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare validation documentation including requirement traceability, design, and reports.

Requirements

• A degree in computer science or telecommunications.
• Previous experience in Software Validation is a plus.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and validation processes for complex systems.
• Knowledge of validation tools such as DOORS, Jira, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Git.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with test campaign planning, preparation, execution, and reporting.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
