F&B Service Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced F&B Service Manager to lead our Food & Beverage service team in a remote capacity. As the F&B Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of F&B operations, including Restaurant, Bar, Room Service, and Meetings & Events, with a total net revenue of €5 million. This role is crucial in shaping the culinary agenda and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage the F&B service team, ensuring high standards of service and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets, monitoring service flows and improving KPIs.
  • Implement and audit operational procedures to guarantee excellence and efficiency.
  • Develop and execute a commercial plan to drive volume to both the restaurant and M&E.
  • Utilize guest feedback to enhance service quality and operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of F&B staff.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to define strategic direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in F&B management, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
  • Strong operational knowledge of restaurant, bar, banquet, and guest service processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English; French is a significant asset.
  • Proficiency in systems such as Micros, MS Office, and POS reporting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of service.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a remote management role.
  • Knowledge of local labor legislation in Belgium.
  • Strong commercial insight and administrative skills.
