Engineering Manager - Operations Platform for DeFi

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for Operations Platform to join Chainlink Labs. In this remote role, you will lead a talented team of engineers responsible for developing and maintaining the Chainlink Deployments Platform, which empowers product engineering teams with standardized deployment and operational management capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Software and SRE engineers.
• Drive the ongoing development and improvement of the Operations Platform, including cross-chain contract deployment and configuration.
• Define operational standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency, reliability, and efficiency in deployments.
• Partner closely with product, infrastructure, and data platform teams to solve integration challenges.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration by providing transparent documentation and intuitive self-service tooling.
• Champion best practices in reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability across the Operations Platform team.
• Manage team productivity and project delivery through effective planning and agile methodologies.
• Recruit, onboard, and grow top engineering talent.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing engineering teams focused on deployment frameworks and operational tooling.
• Strong understanding of secure contract management and multisig operations.
• Ability to define and implement operational standards and documentation effectively.
• A servant-leadership approach that empowers teams to achieve excellence.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience in blockchain technologies or related Web3 infrastructure.
• Technical expertise in distributed systems architecture and cross-chain integration.
• Familiarity with security best practices in software delivery.
