Energy and Environment Systems Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Energy and Environment Systems Designer to join Hera Group's innovative team. This remote opportunity allows you to work on exciting projects related to energy systems design and environmental engineering. You will play a crucial role in managing the mechanical design process for industrial plants, focusing on traditional thermal power plants, cogeneration, and waste treatment facilities.

What You'll Do

• Draft technical and economic feasibility studies for energy projects.
• Provide technical support for reviewing and analyzing project bids.
• Develop preliminary, definitive, and executive designs for energy systems.
• Manage project phases including planning, design, documentation, and execution.
• Analyze operational data of plants to propose optimizations and modifications.
• Interface with regulatory bodies for authorization processes and submissions.
• Support project management during the implementation of energy systems, collaborating with internal teams.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Energy, Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in designing energy and environmental systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM software.
• Knowledge of industrial plant systems in the energy and environmental sectors.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with hydrogen production systems.
• Familiarity with waste treatment technologies.
• Project management certification.
