Employee Relations Advisor - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Employee Relations Advisor - Remote to join our team at the NSW Government. As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will work closely with management and employees to address workplace issues, provide guidance on policies, and facilitate effective communication. What You'll Do

• Advise management and employees on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring fair and impartial processes.
• Provide training and support to managers on effective employee relations practices.
• Collaborate with HR teams to promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in employee relations or HR advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Australia.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a government or public sector environment.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
• HR certification or relevant qualifications.
