About the Role

We are seeking a talented Embedded Firmware Engineer - Remote to join our innovative team at Bragi. In this role, you will focus on prototyping and developing drivers for cutting-edge audio projects, leveraging your expertise in embedded systems. What You'll Do

• Develop and implement firmware for audio projects, specifically on Qualcomm platforms, primarily the S7 platform.
• Create unit and integration tests to ensure software integrity and reliability.
• Collaborate with a dynamic agile team using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Utilize your strong C coding skills to enhance embedded systems functionality.
• Work closely with Bluetooth SoCs and peripheral interfaces like SPI, UART, I2C, and USB.
• Read sensor datasheets and implement drivers based on specifications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Embedded Engineer, with a focus on firmware development.
• Strong proficiency in C programming for embedded systems.
• Experience with QCOMM Bluetooth SoCs and SDK updates.
• Knowledge of low-level software debugging and peripheral interfaces.
• Agile team experience and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Fluent English is required for effective communication.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with audio processing techniques and algorithms.
• Experience with machine learning applications in audio technology.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python or C++.
