EIT Engineering Team Lead - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced EIT Engineering Team Lead to oversee the reliability, stability, and performance of our enterprise intelligence automation ecosystem. This EIT Engineering Team Lead remote position will allow you to lead a dynamic team that provides operational support for automation processes, ensuring rapid incident resolution, managing platform health, and driving continuous improvement across our automation landscape.
What You'll Do
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a team focused on maintaining and developing systems while supervising system modifications.
- Assign, monitor, and review progress and accuracy of work to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Provide staff management oversight, including hiring, promoting, and making recommendations for staff development.
- Conduct performance reviews and assessments, managing performance, engaging in skills assessment, and promoting professional growth.
- Direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their contributions and professional growth.
- Ensure adherence to policies, plans, objectives, budgets, and staffing allocations.
- Manage and track team-level project details, serving as the technical subject matter expert.
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to support team operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science-related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of experience with information technology concepts, application development, and/or enterprise system maintenance methodology.
- 5 years of systems maintenance and/or programming experience.
- 3 years of expert working knowledge of at least one programming language and/or one enterprise system in use at BCBST.
- Hands-on experience with RPA platform tools, preferably UiPath.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Cherwell.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience leading IT production support teams or IT operations teams.
Nice to Have
- Agile Team Coach, Scrum Master, or Product Owner experience.
- Intelligence automation experience.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO).

Who Will Succeed Here
Proficient in RPA tools, specifically UiPath, with a strong understanding of automation frameworks and best practices, enabling efficient management of automation processes.
Demonstrates a results-driven mindset with experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum, facilitating effective team collaboration and ensuring timely project delivery in a remote environment.
Possesses in-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps and ServiceNow for managing incidents and platform health, complemented by a solid foundation in programming languages such as Python or C# to drive technical solutions.
