Drift Technician - Remote Steel Production Process

About the Role

We are looking for a Drift Technician to join our team remotely, focusing on the steel production process. As a Drift Technician, you will primarily work with the subject heating process, collaborating closely with section managers, other technicians, operators, and maintenance teams to drive daily operations and advance our initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Support the section with deviation investigations.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators.
• Participate in improvement teams and investment projects.
• Address workplace safety issues and systematically follow up on deviations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including maintenance, process development, and project managers.
• Drive and develop ongoing change initiatives.

Requirements

• Technical interest with experience in manufacturing, technical facilities, or steel industry.
• Knowledge of heating processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to make independent decisions and navigate organizational structures.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
