Director of Project Management - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Project Management - Remote to join Meridian Bioscience, a leader in the life sciences sector. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee enterprise-level governance and execution of new product development (NPD) initiatives across our global Diagnostics business. Your expertise will help us redefine the possibilities of life from discovery to diagnosis.

What You'll Do

• Own governance and execution oversight for the global Diagnostics project portfolio.
• Establish portfolio-level visibility across timelines, resources, dependencies, and risk.
• Drive prioritization recommendations and scenario planning.
• Define and improve project management frameworks and standards.
• Lead a disciplined phase-gate governance process for NPD.
• Partner with functional leaders for accountability across project teams.
• Develop and scale a team of project managers.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on execution feasibility.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
• Support strategic planning and long-range roadmap development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Project management certification (PMP) required.
• 10-15+ years of project management experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience in IVD design and development.
• Strong knowledge of FDA design controls.
• Proven success in enterprise project management.
• Strategic thinking with execution discipline.
• Strong communication and influence skills.
• Willingness to travel.
