Director of Institutional Sales - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Institutional Sales to lead our efforts in expanding Crypto.com’s institutional presence across the United States. As a key player in our team, you will drive the growth of our institutional sales initiatives, making this a pivotal role for our organization. This remote position offers you the autonomy to innovate and create tailored solutions that meet the diverse needs of our institutional clients.
What You'll Do
- Lead generation and conversion: Identify, pitch, and onboard institutional clients, including hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and family offices.
- Consultative selling: Understand client needs to effectively position our comprehensive suite of products, including our Exchange and OTC desk.
- Product innovation: Collaborate with internal teams to develop new institutional-grade offerings that meet market demands.
- Market ambassadorship: Represent Crypto.com at industry events to enhance brand visibility and strengthen institutional relationships.
- Full deal lifecycle management: Oversee the entire sales process, from initial outreach to closing complex agreements.
- Retention and feedback: Maintain relationships with clients, gathering insights to improve our offerings continuously.
- Competitive intelligence: Monitor market trends to ensure our value proposition remains competitive.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Institutional Sales or Business Development within a high-growth financial environment.
- 5+ years of experience in the digital asset/Web3 space, particularly in outbound sales.
- A robust network across hedge funds, banks, and asset managers.
- Proven track record of managing and monetizing institutional relationships.
- Deep knowledge of institutional-grade products and trading mechanisms.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to C-suite executives.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with API trading and custodial architecture.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments affecting the crypto industry.
- Previous experience in a startup or high-growth company.
