Director of Commercial Finance - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Commercial Finance to join WPP Media in a remote capacity. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial operations and driving strategic initiatives that align with our mission to deliver exceptional growth for our clients. As a Director of Commercial Finance, you will leverage your expertise to enhance our financial reporting and forecasting capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Oversee P&L and balance sheet management to ensure financial health.
• Lead budget creation and phasing, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Map profit centers and track actuals versus budget to optimize financial performance.
• Control revenue tracking and implement effective MIS reporting to clients and WPP Media.
• Conduct fee reconciliations and manage regional/global financial reporting.
• Prepare staff cost and headcount budgeting and reporting.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in commercial finance.
• A minimum of a Commerce Graduate degree.
• Proven ability to manage complex financial operations and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the media or advertising industry.
• Familiarity with financial forecasting tools and methodologies.
