Data & Reporting Architect - Remote Role at Anchorage Digital

About the Role

We are seeking a Data & Reporting Architect to join Anchorage Digital's Global Analytics team. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely and shape the technical foundation that powers mission-critical reporting across our organization. As a Data & Reporting Architect, you will design data architectures and reporting systems that ensure accuracy, reliability, and auditability for high-stakes use cases including stablecoin reserves, trading and settlement reconciliation, regulatory reporting, and executive decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Lead the technical architecture for complex data challenges, establishing patterns and standards for the team.
• Design solutions for stablecoin reconciliations, staking operations, custody reporting, and financial settlements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams to architect data models and reporting systems.
• Implement data quality frameworks including automated testing strategies and observability patterns.
• Drive strategic technical initiatives such as data platform migrations and BI tool consolidation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related roles.
• Expert-level data modeling skills with proven ability to design dimensional models.
• Deep expertise in SQL and data transformation, including performance tuning and writing maintainable code.
• Extensive experience with modern BI platforms, preferably Looker.
• Strong foundation in data quality and testing with experience implementing automated validation.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or cryptocurrency/blockchain companies.
• Knowledge of blockchain data and on-chain analytics.
• Background in financial reporting, accounting, or audit with understanding of GAAP principles.
