Data Engineer - GCP & Snowflake Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer - GCP Remote to join our team at Alten. In this role, you will design and develop robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality and availability while working with cutting-edge technologies like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Snowflake.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines for data processing.
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage workflows.
• Optimize transformation models using dbt.
• Maintain modern data architectures on the cloud.
• Ensure data quality and performance across various platforms.
• Collaborate with data science and BI teams for project success.
• Participate in continuous improvement of data platforms.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in Data Engineering with a strong focus on GCP and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or Cloud Composer.
• Ability to work in an agile and collaborative environment.
