About the Role

We are seeking a talented D365/AX Finance & Operations Programmer to join our dynamic IT team at Pearson Carter. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States. As a D365/AX Programmer, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and supporting our ERP systems, integrations, and warehouse management solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (AX) applications and database systems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain EDI connections with customers and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance workflows, system functionality, and automation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues.
  • Support upgrades, deployments, and IT projects, including testing and version management.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and user guides.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to end-users.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations / AX.
  • Strong knowledge of X++, SSRS, ER reporting, API development, and the Data Management Framework.
  • Advanced experience in modules such as Accounts Payables/Receivables, Inventory Management, Procurement, Product Information, Retail, Vendor Collaboration, and Warehouse Management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft platforms: DevOps, Power BI, SQL Server, Power Apps, Azure (Data Factory, Synapse SQL, Logic Apps, VMs).
  • Experience with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions.
