Customer Service Representative - 6 Month Contract
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative - Remote to join our team at Tata Chemicals Europe for a 6-month contract. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic customer service team based in Northwich, England, providing exceptional support to our B2B clients. As a Customer Service Representative - Remote, you will ensure that all customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently, contributing to our mission of serving society through science.
What You'll Do
- Process and manage all B2B customer orders using SAP HANA, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
- Verify pricing and delivery requirements for customers to maintain order integrity.
- Collaborate with the S&OP team to ensure stock availability meets customer delivery schedules.
- Communicate proactively with customers to confirm or reschedule deliveries and manage order changes.
- Respond swiftly and professionally to inquiries from purchasing teams, planners, and site contacts.
- Build strong, long-term relationships that reflect British Salt’s service standards.
- Liaise with third-party logistics providers to ensure delivery capacity aligns with customer requirements.
- Log all customer complaints accurately into Sales Force and follow up on actions where necessary.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve issues impacting customer satisfaction.
- Raise credit and debit notes as required, following defined approval processes.
- Process returns from customers in line with British Salt procedures.
Requirements
- Strong customer focus with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- High level of accuracy and accountability in all tasks.
- Experience in a customer service role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA or similar order management systems is a plus.

- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
