About the Role

Join Lidl as a Customer Assistant and enjoy a dynamic retail environment where no two shifts are the same. This Customer Assistant role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of £14.35 to £14.64, with an increase to £14.80 - £15.30 starting March 1, 2026. As a Customer Assistant, you will be integral to our team, ensuring excellent customer service while keeping the store organized and welcoming.

What You'll Do

• Be a Lidl expert, assisting customers with their questions and requests.
• Efficiently manage deliveries as they arrive in store.
• Provide outstanding customer service with a friendly demeanor.
• Maintain the bakery section by ensuring fresh goods are available.
• Expertly merchandise and maintain our Non-Food product aisles.

Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexibility to start early or finish late as needed.
• A positive attitude towards changing priorities.
• Drive and passion to contribute to store success.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Knowledge of retail operations.
