Conversational Agent Developer - Python/​Java

About the Role

We are looking for a Conversational Agent Developer to join our team. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to design and build intelligent synthetic agents that enhance self-service experiences and operational insights in the financial services sector.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy synthetic conversational agents for customer self-service and internal agent assistance.
• Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs to support conversational workflows.
• Develop and optimize conversational flows using Dialogflow CX and ES.
• Implement prompt engineering strategies to enhance LLM response quality and reliability.
• Leverage the Agent Development Kit (ADK) to manage agent behavior effectively.
• Integrate and manage APIs using Apigee for secure API lifecycle management.
• Deploy and operate solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Create and monitor Splunk dashboards for observability and performance monitoring.

Requirements

• Strong programming experience in Python or Java.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Dialogflow CX and/or Dialogflow ES.
• Experience working in Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Proven prompt engineering experience for LLM-driven conversational systems.
• Hands-on experience with Agent Development Kit (ADK).
• Experience with API management platforms, preferably Apigee.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services, banking, or fintech environments.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications.
• Understanding of conversational UX principles and user-centered design.
