CNA Home Health Assistant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated CNA Home Health Assistant to join our team at Ecumen. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while providing essential personal care and health-related services to clients in the Duluth area. As a Home Health Assistant, you will be at the forefront of delivering compassionate care, ensuring that our clients' physical and emotional well-being is prioritized. What You'll Do

• Provide personal care to clients according to their individualized care plans.
• Promote independence among clients by offering choices and fostering self-help skills.
• Observe, document, and report changes in clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their family members while in the client's home.
• Participate in care conferences with other health team members as needed.
• Prepare meals as directed, following special meal plans when instructed.
• Provide light housekeeping and laundry services as directed by the care plan.
• Respond appropriately to safety hazards and emergency situations.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant and satisfactory completion of the HHA component.
• Current valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance (if applicable).
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the facility.

Nice to Have

• High school diploma, GED, or higher.
• Previous experience working with seniors.
