About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class A OTR Truck Driver to join our team remotely. As a Class A OTR Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight across long distances while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining high standards of customer service. This remote position allows you to enjoy the flexibility of working from home while still fulfilling your passion for driving.

What You'll Do

  • Drive a Class A tractor-trailer to deliver goods to various locations across the country.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures while on the road.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to provide updates on delivery status.
  • Adhere to all federal and state driving regulations and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and address any issues that may arise.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance driving skills and safety knowledge.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OTR truck driver.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to truck driving.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel long distances and be away from home for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and other trucking technology.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with freight transport and logistics management.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures for trucks.
  • Additional certifications related to truck driving or logistics.
