About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Chief People Officer to join our team in the food manufacturing industry. What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development and engagement of human capital.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification required.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a VP of HR or CHRO role.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, particularly in food manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR department staff members.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and human resources management.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HR software such as Paylocity.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience in organizational development and change management.
